CAM for Centroid Acorn (CNC12)

Centroid Acorn and other CNC12 controllers (common in retrofits).

What the Centroid Acorn (CNC12) post writes

  • T<n> M6 then G43 H<n>; comments after ;
  • Program end M25 G49, then M2
  • Holes as moves and helical arcs as lines until confirmed

Files end in .nc. Every file is read back before export and checked against the simulated toolpath.

M6 raises Z to home and waits for CYCLE START: CNC12 asks for the tool.

Not yet confirmed on a machine. This post follows the controller maker's documentation. Before the first real job, run the controller check in the air — or compare with a file that already runs on your machine (Export options → Check this post).
