Shape-cutting controls that take EIA RS-274D with M07 cut on and M08 cut off (Hypertherm-style and StarFire-type controls).
What the EIA plasma (M07 / M08) post writes
- G90, G20 or G21, G00 to the start, M07, the cut, M08; M02 at the end
- No comments (some of these controls reject them), no Z, I J arcs
Files end in .txt. Every file is read back before export and checked against the simulated toolpath.
Pierce and height are set on the control.
Not yet confirmed on a machine. This post follows the controller maker's documentation. Before the first real job, run the controller check in the air — or compare with a file that already runs on your machine (Export options → Check this post).
