What the GRBL laser post writes

  • M4 S<power> (dynamic power, scaled with the speed so corners do not burn), or M3 for constant power
  • S for full power is $30 (1000 unless changed); no Z

Files end in .gcode. Every file is read back before export and checked against the simulated toolpath.

Not yet confirmed on a machine. This post follows the controller maker's documentation. Before the first real job, run the controller check in the air — or compare with a file that already runs on your machine (Export options → Check this post).
