CAM for Siemens SINUMERIK
Machining centres with Siemens SINUMERIK 828D or 840D controls (802D too).

What the Siemens SINUMERIK post writes
- Comments after ;, G710 for millimetres and G700 for inches
- G0 SUPA Z0 D0 (Z to the machine zero) before every change, then T<n>, M6, D1: D1 brings the tool length in (no G43 on a Sinumerik)
- Drilling as Siemens standard cycles: MCALL CYCLE81 / CYCLE82 / CYCLE83, a G0 X Y block per hole, MCALL to end
- Dwell G4 F in seconds
- Arcs with I J, split at 90 degrees; helical arcs
Files end in .mpf. Every file is read back before export and checked against the simulated toolpath.
Shaped after Autodesk's Fusion SINUMERIK 840D and 828D posts and SharpCam's Siemens 802D definition, a post users run.
The cycles are written in their basic parameter lists, which older and newer Sinumerik software both read.
Cutter compensation (G41 / G42) is not written: on a Sinumerik D holds the whole tool radius, not a wear value.
