CAM for Syntec
Machining centres with Syntec milling controls (SYIL and many others).
From the maker's documents
What the Syntec post writes
- G71 for millimetres and G70 for inches (Syntec words)
- % and O1000, G91 G28 Z0 before every T<n> M6, G0 G43 Z<clearance> H<n>
- Drilling cycles with G98, rigid tapping M29 + G84, dwell P in milliseconds
- Cutter compensation G41 / G42 D<n> for wear
Files end in .nc. Every file is read back before export and checked against the simulated toolpath.
Shaped after Autodesk's Fusion SYIL post (2026), the Fanuc-style dialect with Syntec's unit words.
